Product Description

What is Plastic injection molding?

Plastic injection molding is a manufacturing technology mainly used for mass production of plastic parts with relatively complex shapes. The process is to inject molten plastic material into the mold, cool and solidify it, and then remove the molded plastic part from the mold.

The injection molding process is mainly divided into four stages: plasticization, injection, pressure holding and cooling. The plasticization stage is to melt the plastic particles into a uniform molten state through heating and shearing; the injection stage is to inject the molten plastic into the pre-prepared mold; the pressure holding stage is to continue to apply pressure to the mold so that the molten plastic fully fills the mold; the final cooling stage is to let the plastic in the mold cool and form, and then open the mold to take out the finished product.
