Product Description
Rich forging experience:
CHENGSHUO has independent factories and skilled employees, which can produce a variety of high-precision complex parts that meet customer needs. With rich forging experience, we have gained more than 1,000 customers from all over the world.
Diverse forging process methods:
We have a variety of forging machinery and equipment, such as: air hammer, electro-hydraulic hammer, die forging hammer, hydraulic press, etc., which can accept any complex forging processing. While providing various complex processing work, we will also provide competitive prices and high-quality services.
Common forging methods are:
Free forging (free forging)
Free forging is a forging process performed on a forging hammer or press using simple tools and equipment. The workpiece can move freely during the forging process, so forgings of various shapes can be processed. Free forging is usually used to produce single pieces, small batches and large forgings. Advantages: high flexibility, strong adaptability, suitable for forgings of various shapes and sizes. Disadvantages: low production efficiency, poor forging accuracy and surface quality.
Die forging (closed die forging)
Die forging is a forging method in which the metal material is heated and placed in a die, and pressure is applied by a forging hammer or press to fill the die cavity with metal and form it. Die forging is suitable for mass production of forgings with complex shapes and high precision requirements. Advantages: high production efficiency, complex forging shapes, high precision, and good surface quality. Disadvantages: high mold cost, suitable for mass production.
Ring forging
Ring forging is a process of processing metal materials into ring forgings on special equipment. It is often used to produce ring parts such as bearing rings, gear rings, flanges, etc. Advantages: large diameter and thin-walled ring forgings can be produced with high material utilization. Disadvantages: large equipment investment and complex mold design.
Precision forging
Precision forging is a high-precision forging method that controls parameters such as forging temperature, deformation and speed to achieve high dimensional accuracy and surface quality of forgings. It is often used in aerospace, automobile, precision machinery and other fields. Advantages: high forging precision, good surface quality, and small subsequent processing volume. Disadvantages: complex process and high requirements.
Hot forging
Hot forging is a forging process that heats the metal to a temperature higher than its recrystallization temperature. The heated metal has good plasticity and low deformation resistance, which is suitable for forging with large deformation. Advantages: Good metal plasticity, low forging force, suitable for forging with large deformation. Disadvantages: Severe oxidation on the surface of forgings and low dimensional accuracy.
Cold forging
Cold forging is a forging process performed at room temperature, suitable for metal materials with good plasticity. Cold forging is suitable for the production of small and medium-sized parts, such as bolts, nuts, etc. Advantages: Good surface quality of forgings, high dimensional accuracy, no need for heating, and energy saving. Disadvantages: Large deformation resistance, large forging force required, and limited applicable materials.
Isothermal forging
Isothermal forging is a forging process performed at a constant temperature, which is often used for forging difficult-to-deform materials such as high-temperature alloys. Isothermal forging can reduce forging force and improve forging accuracy and surface quality. Advantages: Suitable for difficult-to-deform materials, high forging accuracy, and good surface quality. Disadvantages: Complex process, high equipment requirements, and high cost.
